How it works

From the session, into the week, and back again.

You learn a skill, try it in a short quest, keep a piece of it, and bring that back to therapy. That is the loop.

The loop

Learn it, try it, keep a piece of it.

The same loop lives on both sides of the chair. A therapist can start a skill in session. A client can pick it up again on an ordinary day.

  1. 01

    Learn

Meet a skill with your therapist, or in an activity they assigned.

  2. 02

    Practice

Try it in a short quest, not on a worksheet you put down later.

  3. 03

    Earn

Coming back, exploring, and practicing can earn XP, coins, and tokens.

  4. 04

    Unlock

New pieces of your world, character, and toolbox can open up.

  5. 05

    Build

Place what you earn. The room starts to feel like yours.

  6. 06

    Practice again

Pick the skill back up from My Toolbox between sessions.

Practice

A quest is a short story for a skill.

It names the skill, lets you try it, asks what you noticed, then can leave something for your world or toolbox. When it is right, there is room to say “something else” so a therapist can see how you were thinking.

An example week

Come back, try something, keep what opened.

  1. 1The client enters My World.
  2. 2A notification appears that a new quest is available.
  3. 3They complete the interactive activity and a short reflection.
  4. 4They receive XP, coins, and/or a skill item.
  5. 5A character or world item can unlock and be placed or equipped.
  6. 6The skill remains in My Toolbox for later practice.
  7. 7The therapist can review the activity and discuss it next session.

In session

Sit in the same work, then leave some for the week.

In Therapy Session Mode, a therapist can start an activity and the client can join the same interactive work in real time — in person or over telehealth. Afterward, related independent practice can be assigned.

What comes back

Therapy does not start from a blank week.

Completion, skill practice, and reflections can return to the next session. Private journal pages stay private. Shared pages are marked before a therapist can see them. Not every door opens by itself.
